Privacy Policy — Astrum Audio
Last updated: 12 July 2026
Astrum Audio (“the app”) is a companion app for Astrum Bluetooth audio devices such as earbuds and headphones. This policy explains what the app accesses and why. We designed the app to collect as little as possible — it has no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising.
Information the app uses
Bluetooth. The app uses Bluetooth to find, connect to, and control your Astrum audio device — for example to read the battery level, change the equaliser, switch noise-control modes, or reassign touch gestures. Bluetooth is used only to communicate with your own device. No Bluetooth data is collected, stored off your device, or shared.
Location (optional, “While Using the App”). If you enable the “Find my device” feature, the app records your phone’s location at the moment your device is connected, so it can later show you on a map where you last had it. This location is stored only on your phone. It is never uploaded, transmitted, shared, or used for any other purpose. You can decline the location permission and the rest of the app works normally.
Information the app does NOT collect
- No name, email, account, or contact information.
- No usage analytics or tracking.
- No advertising identifiers.
- Nothing is sent to us or any third party. The app has no backend server.
Data storage
All app data — your remembered devices, equaliser settings, and last-seen location — is stored locally on your device and is removed if you delete the app.
Children’s privacy
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone.
